LATEST HEIDI NEWS   On Monday 4th May Sunny    Show Theatre presented a    show all about the negative    effects of bullying, titled    "bullying is bad"   On Saturday 9th May we    held our annual Mini Walk    function at the school.    Although it was a cold and    wet morning, the parents    and children who attended    enjoyed themselves.   On Friday 15th May    Heather's class had their    turn to go on a nature walk,    around Korsmans Bird    Sanctuary. The children    enjoyed their outing.   EVENTS FOR JUNE   Friday 5th June -    Grandparents Day will be    celebrated. Quite a number    of Grandparents will be    joining us for a special    assembly and morning tea.   Tuesday 9th June - We will    have a magician show at the    school presented by Ken.   Friday 26th June - Schools    close for the end of the    second term, however we    will be open and the children    who attend will be able to    enjoy our special holiday    activities. WELCOME TO HEIDI MONTESSORI PRE-SCHOOL'S WEB SITE    About Us      Heidi Montessori has been in the Business of teaching children for 31 years and the school is owned      by the founder Mrs Joan Jennings. The building was built in 1936 as a magnificent residence and it is      now the perfect secure location for your child to spend his/her foundation years. All children are      treated with love and respect.      Our motto is 'Only the best for your child'     Staff         We have dedicated long term staff at the school.         3 members have over 21 years service and of the remaining staff the majority have over 10 years          service.     Education         Reports are sent out bi-annually on the progress made by the child. Staff are qualified and          experienced and receive on going training.         Grade 'R's follow the 'Outcomes Based' curriculum.         An appropriately stocked Library is on the premises.         Extensive imported Montessori Equipment is available for children to use.         We are not just a play school but a school where children play and are also taught so that they          can reach their full potential.     Ages         14 months to school going age.         Full Day Children.         Half Day Children.         Part Time Children.     Meals         Breakfast.         Mid Morning snack (Biscuits and tea).         Fully cooked lunch.         Afternoon snack.
